A Ghost story from Michael Sizemore

On the night of July 1st, 2000, my friend and I were up late, as usual, doing nothing constructive.
I had been researching ghost activity now for close to a year. I lived about 10 yards from a small
cemetary that always striked my interest. Now my friend was never really into paranormal phenomena,
as was I, but I talked him into going on a ghost hunt that night with me in that cemetary. Early in
the morning, around 1 or 2 AM, we got our investigation underway. We took the usual necessities that
I have read that most investigators were supposed to take: 35 millimeter camera, a compass, a flashlight,
and a notepad to record voices, sounds, etc. We were passing through rows of headphones, as we
were contently feeling around for cold spots and trying to get that "feeling". It was just then that
I heard a series of footsteps behind me. I began to panic, so I ran, leaving my friend behind. But
he eventually caught up when I stopped. We started to take pictures of the spot that this occured,
and after that, we sprinted back to my house. Slamming the door, and running back into my room, we felt
really relieved. Being that this was July, it was Summer-time, so I had my window open in my room.
I was online, looking at websites, and talking to people, when I heard the most breathtaking voice that
I had ever heard outside of my window. I heard a little girl, approximately 6 years of age, say the
following: "Hey you guys?", as if she were calling us to come back to the cemetary. We both ran out of
the room, and slept in the living room that night.
