I work part time as an EMT for a private ambulance company.
One night I was on duty in Marion. I checked the front doors to make sure
they were locked. I went to bed at midnight but couldn't fall asleep. I
could hear the front windows and the HVAC vents make noise. I asked my partner
if that was just the windows making noise as the wind rattled the glass.
He said yes, and then fell asleep. A little bit later I heard papers rustling
out in the front of the station. I then heard a woman's voice whisper something
like "shut up." I immediately thought, "what the heck was
that? Did I imagine that?" I then heard her whisper something else,
but couldn't make out what it was, and thought "someone's inside here!"
I got up to investigate, and as I went out front, I found the front door
open, with the extended tongue keeping it from shutting. I shut the door
and checked the building. No one was there. I'm not sure what time this
was, other than after midnight. I went back to bed, but still couldn't sleep.
The voice sounded like it was just outside the bedroom, and I was sleeping
in the first bed inside the room, with the door open the whole night so
we could hear the phone for runs. (we are the 911 service here). We were
sent on a 911 call later around 4 am. Afterwards, I told my partner what
happened and asked him if he had gone out the door before going to bed and
maybe forgot to completely shut it and he said no. He was snoring the whole
time I heard the voice, and never woke up while I was up checking on the
building. In talking to another employee previously, she said she has always
been psychic and always feels like something bad has happened whenever she
goes into the bedroom. She has learned to ignore the feeling. The building
was previously a service station. I have never found an explanation for
what I experienced, and have never experienced anything before or since
then. I would love to find out what, if anything, happened in the bedroom
that causes the bad feeling. |
